Write Around Portland

In 2012-2013, I collaborated with Precious Bugarin on Write Around Portland's book design. Write Around Portland is a local non-profit that brings writing worskhops to at-risk youth and underserved adult populations, allowing them to find their voice and express their stories through creative writing.

In 2012 I managed the content flow and edits for these anthologies, and in 2013 I designed two book covers.

The Spring anthology and the children's chapbook are both highly typographic in nature, and I enjoyed the variety and depth of the writings and the subsequent titles that were selected from a piece within each book, which helped inform my designs and set a clear tone for the project.
